Barcelona will complete the £128million signing of Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho in January, according to reports in Spain.
Coutinho once again demonstrated why Barca wanted to sign him in the summer, scoring a hat-trick in the Reds’ 7-0 demolition of Spartak Moscow on Wednesday.
Fresh from his exploits against the Russian side, the Spanish media haven’t wasted any time in speculating about the Brazilian’s future.

Mundo Deportivo reported on Thursday morning that a deal is already in place for the playmaker to sign a five-year contract.
Barca want Coutinho to spearhead their bid to rule European football once again, and believe personal terms won’t be an issue either.
The Nou Camp outfit were close to signing the 25-year-old — who celebrated his hat-trick exploits with his family at San Carlo restaurant on Wednesday — but Liverpool refused to sell their prized asset.
However it is understood Coutinho had an agreement with Liverpool for the club to sell him in January, which means a move when the window reopens is likely.
It is also reported that Coutinho threatened to not play for the Reds in the Champions League this season with a view to being eligible for Barcelona in the knockout stages.
He ultimately decided against going on strike in the European competition but remains hopeful he will seal his dream move in the New Year.
